Milo Greene

The first time I saw Milo Greene the show was full of folky melodies and great harmonies, this time around it was fledged with pop songs and even better harmonies. This is the second time I've seen them at the Record Bar, and I have to say I've rarely experienced such two different types of shows. Their new album is quite a departure from the first, and rarely does a new road towards pop music from folk work so well. In this case, it did. After listening to their album "Control" many, many times, I came to appreciate their new direction and jump into a world they hadn't shown us before.

The show was full of dancing (both the band and the crowd), and fab leather jackets (I'm looking at you Marlana and Robbie). They may or may not have inspired me to make the final push to buy myself a leather jacket (it should arrive on my doorstep in 5-7 business day).

Thanks for such a fun show Milo Greene, come back to KC soon!
